Cutting wooden threads

SWWG members Ross Nicholl and Ray Larsen demonstrated the cutting of wooden threads at the June club meeting. Members were shown how to cut threads with a wood lathe and with hand tools.

Kidzone 2017

Members of the Southalnd Wood Workers Guild attended Kidzone in July 2017. They staffed an activity room for kids where they made wooden toys.

3.000 kitset toys were made by the Guild in Autumn for Kidzone.

The team of volunteers were led by Guild Vice President Simon Tonkin.
